Zapier Integration Guide

Zapier is useful when you want to automate your FormX data extraction pipeline.

For example, when there's a new file in Google Drive, send it to FormX to extract the data, and export the result to the Google Spreadsheet. Zapier, as a popular workflow automation tool can do this job very well.

The FormX Zapier apps are most suitable for rather light weight extractors (e.g. receipts, invoice, airwaybill). Extractors that require a longer processing time will likely run into Zapier's timeout problem.

To set up a FormX workflow on Zapier, you can use the FormX Zapier app.

There are two FormX apps:

1. Action: If you wish to import files from a third party app (e.g. Google Drive, One Drive, Dropbox) and send it automatically to FormX for extraction, use the Action app.
2. Trigger: If you wish to import files to the FormX's workspace and send the extraction result to a 3rd party tool (e.g. Google spreadsheet, One drive and such), use the Trigger app.
