Self-Managed FormX.ai

FormX.ai Enterprise Plan offers self-managed options for customers to run the ML models on their private cloud or public cloud instances using our docker images. This is generally useful for regulated industries such as Financial, Insurance or Public Sectors which must retain the processing and storage of data on-premises.

Modes of deployment

There are three common ways to deploy self-managed FormX.ai:

Single instance/VM for Extractor only: Run FormX on a single server to run pre-built extractors or extractors trained on the FormX.ai SaaS platform.
Cluster without Training Pipeline: Run extraction and other APIs with pre-built models, or train with your samples models trained online and imported to the self-managed FormX.ai.
Cluster with Training Pipeline: Full deployment with train with your samples capability.

Features Not Supported in a Self-Managed Deployment

Most of the features on FormX.ai are supported for Self-Managed Deployment, except:

FormX.ai supports ocr engines such as Google Vision API, Azure Read OCR, Tesseract, and proprietary solutions. Depending on the Internet connectivity of your environment, some of the OCR engines above are unavailable. FormX.ai can run in a disconnected environment if required.
"Train with samples" feature is unavailable in clusters without Training Pipeline, where training pipeline requires GPUs;
